Grand Master's Message

To the Leadership, Senseis, Coaches, and Athletes of the Kedah Karate Association,

To the Leadership, Senseis, Coaches, and Athletes of the Kedah Karate Association,

Oss!

It is with great honor and pride that I extend my warmest greetings to the Kedah Karate Association.

Karate is far more than a martial art—it is a lifelong path (Do) defined by discipline, respect, humility, and unwavering perseverance (Oss spirit). Across Kedah, your association continues to serve as a beacon of these principles, shaping not only skilled karatekas but individuals of exemplary character and integrity.

To our Athletes and Students: Remember that true mastery is not measured solely by medals or belt ranks, but by the strength of your spirit in overcoming challenges. Train with dedication, respect your peers, stay humble in victory, and remain resilient in defeat.

Let us continue to stand united in strengthening the karate community across Kedah and Malaysia, pursuing technical excellence and upholding the highest standards of sportsmanship.

Keep training hard, stay true to the precepts of Karate-Do, and strive for continuous improvement.

With respect and best wishes,

SOKESIR K.ANANTHAN (8th Dan) Founder, Technical Advisor & Grand Master Okinawa Goju-Ryu Karate-Do Federation Malaysia
