Students and visitors should always respect the dojo and observe the following etiquette.

  2. All visitors to the dojo are requested to keep younger children off the training area and keep noise to a minimum.

  3. When an instructor gives advice, the student must listen respectfully and acknowledge by saying "Hai Sensei", showing they have understood the instructor.

  4. Students must not talk during class, but if they have any questions they should ask a senior student at the end of the class.

  5. Students must keep their gi clean and tidy at all times, and the club badge must be worn on the left side of the gi.

  6. Students must always endeavour to arrive on time. In the event that the student is late, they must quickly change into their gi, kneel in seiza and await the Instructor's permission to join the class.
